One of WA’s most popular arts events, Margaret River Region Open Studios, will return in September after being forced to postpone due to COVID-19. 103 artists from around the region will be opening their studio doors to welcome in art lovers and share their passion. A beautiful nature-based playground and community gathering space in Dunsborough, in WA's Margaret River region, telling stories of the Wardandi people and the fish traps they once placed here. It is of the first big acknowledgements of country in the City of Busselton and for Dunsborough. A massive community effort from vision to build made it possible. We enjoyed doing our small bit filming and interviewing this piece for GWN7 News with Till Spielhoff Filmmaker and helping Dunsborough & Districts Progress Association spread the word.
