Calling for information about Busselton’s Ballaarat Steam Engine
The City of Busselton is calling out to the public for any memories, photos, videos and stories related to Busselton’s Ballaarat steam engine which marks 150 years in 2021. It is the oldest Australian built steam locomotive still in existence, and WA's first operating locomotive engine.

A beautiful nature-based playground and community gathering space in Dunsborough, in WA's Margaret River region, telling stories of the Wardandi people and the fish traps they once placed here. It is of the first big acknowledgements of country in the City of Busselton and for Dunsborough. A massive community effort from vision to build made it possible.
